I think everything is sacred and subject to intent. What concerns me the most is the speed at which Reiki Master Teachers conduct Seminars.
There is no way I can/will teach Reiki 1 in one day, even if I only have 3 people. It takes 2 full days to give my students all they need to feel confident and mentally, emotionally and spiritually adjusted to go out and actually practice Reiki.
The same with Reiki2. I teach over a 2 day period. My students know the symbols and application by heart when they leave. I take a full week to teach the Reiki Master Teacher, and have a 6 months apprentice ship with assisting in Reiki 1 and 2 Seminars.

I just feel that REiki has gotten a lot of bad wrap because of teachers that were not prepared carefully and with the highest integrity.
