Reiki Roundup

This week our roundup begins in the "world's largest-circulation magazine," AARP: The Magazine, where Reiki gets a mention in an article about natural remedies for chronic pain. For the rest of the world, AARP stands for American Association of Retired Persons, most of whom aren't actually retired.

Next stop, Green Bay, Wisconsin, where we meet a karate teacher who's recently begun studying Reiki as well.

On to British Columbia, Canada, where a Reiki Master is coordinating a "Celebrating a Life" campaign to support a local hospice. 

From there, we hop to the United Kingdom, where Nursing Times reports that use of complementary and alternative medicine, including Reiki, is rapidly increasing.

Also in the UK, we find that Reiki is among the therapies being used to help those who care for an alcoholic or drug-addicted family member.
