Edwina Froelich (1915-2008)

La Leche League International co-founder Edwina Froelich, 93, died June 8 from complications of a stroke. One of six women who gathered in a suburban Chicago living room to discuss what was then a controversial topic: breastfeeding. In later life, she became a Reiki and tai chi practitioner, according to her Chicago Tribune obituary.
