Waka Challenge Day 17

Our goal is to post at least one waka a day from April 9 through May 9 in our second annual Waka Fest. Today, a few words of gardening advice:

The ground has been tilled
and many seeds are planted.
Where is the reward?
Physical reality
constantly tests our patience.
